While the Islamic Republic supreme leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, for his part, has been vocal through his speeches, statements, and practices to find a candidate who would follow and carry on his revolutionary ideals to national leadership, Iranians in exile have not been able to reconcile their differences in order to appoint someone at the helm.

Maryam Rajavi is the leader of MEK or Mojahedin Khalgh, is best described as a cult rather than as a political opposition because of its internal discipline. Its members are, according to the testimony of those who have escaped, subjected to considerable indoctrination, best described as brainwashing.

The MEK is also known as Moijahedin Khalgh, best described as a cult rather than as a political movement because of its internal discipline. The MEK were very much like Jim Jones’s religious cult leader who initiated and was responsible for mass suicide and mass murder in Jonestown, Guyana. I cannot find a better comparison with the MEK.

Iran is at a crossroads. The Islamic rulers do not have one iota of sentiment towards Iran and they have just given up what to do with this ancient and civilized nation. Many Iranians around the globe are desperate that they are unable to do anything against the sworn enemies of Iran: the mullahs. So, Iran is on the verge of collapse without any help from the outside. Many opposition groups have done all they could to save Iran from further deterioration and collapse.

Over the past 40 years, many of us have seen various Iranian opposition groups and TV channels pop up, one after another, but none united or supported their competitors. Each group had its own agenda. A typical Iranian dilemma: “too many chiefs, not enough Indians.”

Historians have concluded that history is cyclic unless one learns from its mistakes, we will be doomed to endure an endless repetition of the cause and effects of poor management systems.  French author Charles Pinot Duclos, observed:
